Green Thumbs Up for Gardening Gurus at Trinity Green
Adelaide's most dedicated gardening enthusiasts have flocked to Trinity Green Retirement Village, to join celebrity gardening gurus Michael Keelan and June Taylor for a lesson on how to keep your garden green.

Almost 80 amateur gardeners came along last week to witness the green thumbed duo share their expert tips on autumn gardening and how to beat those cooler months ahead.

Trinity Green spokesperson Lyn Pobke said it was both an inspirational and educational day for all.

"The gardening secrets Michael and June shared with us were very insightful," Ms Pobke said.
"Michael Keelan has won numerous gardening and nursery awards of excellence, and to have had him lend his expert advice to the people of Adelaide was very special."

Ms Pobke said Adelaide's cooler months were usually a frustrating time for even the most dedicated gardeners.

"Gardening during the autumn months will now be a breeze thanks to all the expert tips from Michael and June," she said.

"I'm certain many of the gardening enthusiasts who came along for the special event will be growing the best gardens in their neighbourhoods no matter the season."

For those Adelaide locals who missed out on the expert gardening advice, Ms Pobke said don't despair.

"Due to its success, we're now looking at holding two more gardening events this year for winter and spring," she said. "So if you want to know how to maintain your veggie patch or how to grow the perfect rose no matter the season - these will be the events for you."
